Job summary

Esko, a Veralto Company, seeks a Manager for Agentic AI to lead the engineering team, own substantial platform areas, and guide technical direction. This hybrid role spans Prague and remote options across multiple regions, with collaboration across product, cloud, security, and design.

You will drive adoption of shared capabilities and shape architecture while maintaining production-grade quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong production software engineering experience in Python, TypeScript, Java or similar.
• Experience leading and developing engineers, with line management and coaching.
• Experience building platform or shared services used by multiple teams.
• Experience designing or building production AI systems with agentic workflows.
• Track record taking early ideas through evaluation, implementation and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Agentic AI engineering team with clear goals and feedback.
• Contribute to design, implementation and operation of Esko's Agentic AI platform.
• Shape platform direction, architecture, interfaces, and quality bar.
• Translate needs into reusable platform capabilities while avoiding forks.
• Establish engineering practices for reliability, security, observability and performance.
• Collaborate with product teams to drive adoption of the shared platform.
• Create environment for experimentation and evidence-based decisions.
• Define measures of adoption, quality and delivery to steer priorities.
