Job summary

Veralto is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer - Security to own end-to-end security for the AI Platform. You will design identity, authorization, policy enforcement, and audit capabilities for AI systems operating in multi-tenant environments.

You will work across cloud platform, security, and product teams to implement practical, scalable controls that balance security with usability and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience designing, building, and operating secure production systems.
• At least 5 years in a software engineering role with cloud/security experience.
• Experience with threat modelling and security testing.
• Familiarity with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, or agents and their security risks.

Responsibilities

• Shape the AI Platform's security architecture and own security components end-to-end.
• Design and enforce identity, authorization, delegated access, and policy controls for AI systems.
• Secure against prompt injection, data leakage, and other AI-specific threats.
• Implement risk-based controls with approvals, isolation, and recovery mechanisms.
• Build audit and monitoring capabilities for traceability and reviews.
• Conduct threat modelling and translate findings into platform controls.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, compliance and product teams to implement practical controls.
