MAHLE is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the European empty container flow within its production and supplier network. You will coordinate transportation activities and collaborate with plants, warehouses, suppliers, and partners to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

The role offers work in an international environment with travel across Europe and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Fluent English written and spoken. German or another language is a plus.
• Higher education degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Experience in logistics is required.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect facts quickly.
• Ability to make decisions, set priorities, and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier accounts for empty containers.
• Coordinate with plants, warehouses, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Verify and validate supplier orders for empty containers.
• Organize transportation of empty containers to MAHLE partners based on demand.
• Coordinate empty container flows across the European logistics network.
• Support daily operational logistics activities and resolve transport issues.
• Participate in business travels in Europe (usually 1x per year).

Job description

Join our European Logistics team and help ensure the efficient flow of empty containers across MAHLE’s production and supplier network. You will coordinate transportation activities, collaborate with plants, warehouses, suppliers, and logistics partners, and support smooth day-to-day logistics operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in an international environment and contribute directly to the performance of MAHLE’s European supply chain.

Your Contribution

• Managing supplier accounts for empty containers
• Cooperating closely with plant logistics teams, warehouse staff, and suppliers
• Verifying and validating supplier orders for empty containers
• Organizing transportation of empty containers to MAHLE partners based on supplier demand
• Coordinating empty container flows across the European logistics network
• Supporting daily operational logistics activities and resolving transport-related issues
• Participating in business travels in Europe (usually 1 x year)

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German or another foreign language is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience in logistics
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect facts quickly
• Ability to make decisions, set priorities, and adapt to changes
• High level of responsibility and ownership
• Higher education degree; logistics, supply chain, or related fields are preferred
• Knowledge of logistics processes in the automotive industry is an advantage
• Practical knowledge of SAP ERP is an advantage
