Job summary

MAHLE is seeking to join our European Logistics team to optimize the flow of empty containers across our production and supplier network. You will coordinate transportation, collaborate with plants, warehouses, suppliers and logistics partners, and support day-to-day logistics in an international environment.

In this role you will manage supplier accounts, verify orders, organize transport, and contribute to continuous improvement of the European supply chain.

Qualifications

• Fluent English written and spoken; German a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in logistics.
• Strong analytical mindset and quick fact connections.
• Ability to make decisions, set priorities, and adapt to changes.
• High level of responsibility and ownership.
• Higher education degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Knowledge of automotive logistics processes is advantageous.
• SAP ERP knowledge is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Organizing transportation of empty containers to MAHLE partners based on supplier demand
• Coordinating empty container flows across the European logistics network

• Participating in business travels in Europe (usually 1 x year)

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German or another foreign language is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience in logistics
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect facts quickly

• High level of responsibility and ownership
• Higher education degree; logistics, supply chain, or related fields are preferred
• Knowledge of logistics processes in the automotive industry is an advantage
