Job summary

Develocraft sp. z o.o. is seeking a seasoned Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for multiple European countries. You will coordinate with external providers and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely payments.

Applicants should have 3+ years in payroll, strong Excel skills, and deep knowledge of European regulatory frameworks. The role offers hybrid work with a Gdańsk office and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing across multiple European countries.
• Experience with external payroll providers and managing regional payroll operations.
• Advanced English (C1 or higher) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, processes, and applicable regional regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with payroll software.
• Familiarity with major European payroll regulations and taxation systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processes across multiple European countries.
• Coordinate payroll activities with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local tax, social security, and employment legislation across the EMEA region.
• Work closely with regional HR teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Prepare and submit statutory payroll reports, including tax filings and year-end declarations.
• Maintain and regularly update payroll records, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with GDPR and internal company policies.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and work closely with Finance teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations and increase efficiency.
• Support the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and tools in line with business requirements.
• Handle employee payroll queries promptly, providing clear, accurate, and professional support.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Participate in payroll software implementation and integration projects.

Job description

What we offer:

CoE (UoP): up to 12,000 PLN gross per month. This is a fixed-term replacement contract for a period of 18 months, with the possibility of extension.

• Proven experience working with external payroll providers and managing the complexities of regional payroll operations.
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 or higher), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, processes, and applicable regional regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with payroll software.
• Familiarity with major European payroll regulations and taxation systems (e.g., UK, Germany, France, or other key markets).
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce would be a strong advantage.
