Job summary

Innovecs in Kraków, Poland, seeks a Senior Payroll Officer (EMEA, UK Payroll Experience) to manage multinational payroll via ADP and EOR partners. The role supports accurate, compliant payroll delivery across EMEA with a focus on governance and process improvement.

You will partner with HR, Finance, and Legal to drive payroll transformation, mentor staff, and ensure audits and controls are robust in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deep knowledge of EMEA payroll regulations, taxation, social security, and reporting.
• Professional payroll qualification preferred (CIPP, GPA or equivalent).
• Hands-on ADP platform experience; Workday HCM highly regarded.
• Proven vendor governance, SLA management, and cost oversight.
• Auditing, internal controls, and governance in a multinational setting.
• Strong data analysis, payroll modelling, and executive reporting.
• Leadership, mentoring, and development of junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end EMEA payroll delivery via ADP and EOR vendors across in-scope countries.
• Advise workforce operations, finance, and senior leadership on payroll matters.
• Lead vendor governance for ADP and EOR providers with SLA reviews and improvements.
• Approve payroll inputs/outputs, including hires, terminations, changes, and benefits.
• Perform complex payroll analyses, root-cause investigations, and remediation.
• Own EMEA payroll reporting, analytics, and Board-level insights.
• Lead payroll audits and internal control frameworks for EMEA.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external auditors.
• Drive month-end/year-end close, GL reconciliations, and statutory filings.
• Govern EOR commercials, invoicing, SLAs, and cost drivers.
• Champion payroll transformation, automation, standardization, and vendor consolidation.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, and external providers for a unified operation.
• Mentor and develop junior payroll team members.
