Job summary

Hitachi is seeking an HR Operations specialist to drive end-to-end onboarding and data management across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance and a smooth candidate-to-employee experience.

You will coordinate contracts, maintain personnel records, support payroll inputs, and partner with recruiters, payroll teams, and external vendors to deliver a seamless employee journey in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR Operations or similar function.
• Experience with HRIS platforms like Workday, SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
• Professional proficiency in English (B2+).
• Knowledge of labor law, compliance and data privacy principles is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end pre-boarding and onboarding activities across the EMEA region.
• Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders throughout the onboarding process.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and related documentation in accordance with local labor legislation.
• Coordinate contract signing processes based on country-specific legal requirements.
• Collect employee data and maintain accurate personnel records and files in both electronic and paper formats.
• Create and validate employee profiles in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate occupational health and medical examination referrals where required.
• Support background screening activities and conduct identity verification during pre-boarding.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related inputs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain onboarding policies, SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge base content.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required HR documentation and reports.
• Partner with recruiters, managers, payroll teams, and external vendors to ensure a seamless employee experience.
