Job summary

Hitachi Digital is seeking an HR Advisor for an 18-month temporary role focused on Employee Life Cycle and Offboarding across the EMEA region. You will ensure compliance, data accuracy, and a seamless employee and manager experience.

In this role, you will process HR requests, support lifecycle events, coordinate offboarding, and collaborate with HR partners, Payroll, Legal, and line managers to resolve queries while maintaining accurate records and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, global environment is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication and data accuracy.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily HR requests via AskHR Portal with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support lifecycle processes including transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and compensation changes.
• Coordinate end-to-end offboarding activities and exits.
• Prepare HR documents such as letters and employment certificates.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, and managers to resolve queries.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support data quality initiatives.
• Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives.

HR Advisor (Employee Life Cycle & Offboarding) - 18-Month Temporary Role

The Role

The HR Advisor (Employee Life Cycle & Offboarding) supports employee lifecycle events and offboarding activities across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance, data accuracy, and an excellent employee and manager experience.

What You'll Be Doing

HR Transaction Processing and Support

• Manage daily HR requests and inquiries through the AskHR Portal, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Support employee lifecycle processes, including transfers, promotions, organizational changes, compensation changes, and other employment-related transactions.
• Coordinate and administer end-to-end offboarding activities, ensuring a smooth and compliant employee exit process.
• Prepare HR documentation, including employee change letters, employment certificates, termination documentation, and other employee-related correspondence.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, managers, Legal, and other stakeholders to resolve employee lifecycle and offboarding queries.
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in accordance with company policies and local requirements.
• Support audit activities, reporting, and data quality initiatives related to employee lifecycle processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Employee Life Cycle & Offboarding function.

Project Support

• Assist in HR projects, process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, communications, training activities, and operational excellence programs.

Experience

What You'll bring:

• Previous experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, Employee Life Cycle Administration, Offboarding, Employee Data Management, or a similar HR support environment is preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, professional, and global environment is an advantage.

Skills And Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Workday HRIS is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
