Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an EMEA Assistant Fund Controller to lead financial reporting, controlling, and cash flow planning for Real Estate Funds, JVs, and Separate Accounts in an international setting.

You will consolidate data, prepare financial statements, and coordinate VAT/CIT with external advisors, while interfacing with Treasury, Investments, and Payments to ensure accurate information and drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance (business economics or accounting).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a financial organization or Big 4.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Experience in preparing periodic and annual financial reports and managing audit processes.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare period-end reports, including annual and quarterly reports, and assist with complex projects.
• Consolidate and analyze financial data from departments within CBRE IA&R.
• Prepare financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, etc.).
• Coordinate quarterly VAT and CIT statements with external tax advisors.
• Manage quarterly covenant oversight.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, daily cash management, and bi-weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Maintain an accurate general ledger.
• Aggregate financial data at the portfolio level.
• Assist with annual audits in collaboration with external auditors.
• Prepare audit and SOC compliance files and address inquiries.
• Prepare statutory accounts and create financial and management reports for clients and investors.
