Job summary

Ammega Group, a multinational with extensive cross-border operations, seeks a Customs Expert to join the Global Customs team and lead customs support in the EMEA region. You will coordinate operations across ~10 manufacturing units, ensure compliance, and collaborate with brokers and internal stakeholders to optimize processes and policy implementation.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of EU customs law, and excellent communication and project

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, finance, law or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in customs operations.
• Knowledge of EU customs legislation; knowledge of other EMEA jurisdictions is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience with ERP data management and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customs operations in EMEA countries, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert support in tariff classification, origin rules, valuation, and related topics for imports/exports.
• Collaborate with Global Customs team to ensure consistent policy application and development.
• Work with local EMEA sites to support smooth customs processes.
• Ensure company controls, policies and procedures are understood and followed.
• Coordinate customs data management for accurate collection, storage and analysis.
