Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive process simplification, standardisation, and automation across Commercial Finance Operations, ensuring close, forecasting, revenue recognition, and project finance processes are sustainable, scalable, and cadence-safe.

You will collaborate with CFOps pillars to enable streamlined hand-offs, reduce manual work, and translate improvements into system-enabled solutions while preserving controls and auditability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10+ years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or FP&A with hands-on process-improvement delivery.
• Proven background applying Lean / Continuous Improvement methods to financial processes across multi-country organisations.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI methodologies applied to finance processes.
• Hands-on experience improving close, forecasting, or accounting-adjacent processes.
• Understanding of finance systems and data flows (e.g., SAP) to enable automation.
• Ability to translate process improvements into system and control-compliant solutions.
• Strong execution focus and pragmatism; delivers change, not just frameworks.
• Ability to influence without formal authority in matrix environments.
• Structured, data-driven problem-solving mindset.
• Persistence and resilience when addressing long-standing inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Own Continuous improvement roadmap for CFOps processes; Lean methodology and execution for process transformation.
• Drive Lean-based improvements across close, forecasting, RevRec, and project finance processes.
• Identify root causes of inefficiency, rework, and cadence risk and ensure improvements are adopted and measurable.
• Partner across Commercial Finance Pillars to improve hand-offs and execution quality without owning pillar execution.
• Drive automation and system enablement with Finance Systems and IT to translate improvements into system-enabled solutions.
• Build CI capability and coach teams on problem-solving and process thinking.
