Job summary

Eaton is seeking a senior Continuous Improvement professional to drive Lean-based enhancements across CFOps finance processes including close and forecasting. You will partner to streamline hand-offs and improve cadence while reducing manual work through automation.

The role emphasizes building a repeatable improvement pipeline, coaching teams in problem solving, and ensuring scalable solutions across countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or FP&A with hands-on delivery of process improvement initiatives.
• Proven background applying Lean/Continuous Improvement methods to financial processes in multi-country organisations.
• Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Hands-on experience improving financial close, forecasting, or accounting-adjacent processes.
• Understanding of finance systems and data flows (e.g., SAP-based environments) sufficient to enable automation.
• Ability to translate process improvements into system and control-compliant solutions.
• Strong execution focus and pragmatism – delivers change, not frameworks.
• Ability to influence without formal authority in matrix environments.
• Structured, data-driven problem-solving mindset.
• Persistence and resilience when addressing long-standing inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean improvements across CFOps core processes such as close, forecasting, RevRec, and project finance.
• Design processes that withstand peak-period pressure while maintaining control and auditability.
• Partner with commercial finance pillars to improve hand-offs and execution quality.
• Drive automation and system enablement with Finance Systems and IT to scale solutions across countries.
• Build Continuous Improvement capability by establishing Lean tools, mindset, and repeatable improvement pipelines.
