Vaillant Group Business Services Poland is seeking a software integration engineer to help build and maintain the embedded Linux platform powering our heating systems.

You will work across teams to integrate software, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, validate releases, and participate in SAFe agile processes with cross-functional partners.

This role offers a dynamic international environment, exposure to embedded Linux, and opportunities to apply AI-supported engineering approaches.

Qualificações

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Electronics or related field.
• Experience in software integration, testing or related engineering in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux and Yocto with Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD experience.
• Nice to have: SOME/IP, Robot Framework, Squish, HVAC domain interest.

• You will support the delivery of the software platform powering our next-generation heating systems, integrating software from multiple teams into stable and releasable embedded Linux products.
• You will contribute to software integration, validation, release management, and Yocto-based Linux image creation.
• You will support and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and development infrastructure to ensure software quality and efficient delivery.
• Working within a SAFe environment, you will collaborate with Agile teams, architects, product management, and other stakeholders to coordinate integration activities and support Program Increment (PI) objectives.
• You will analyze the impact of software changes, support release planning, and help resolve integration challenges across multiple software components.
• You will gain exposure to a broad technology landscape including embedded Linux, backend connectivity, HMI applications, automation frameworks, test infrastructure, and CI/CD systems.
• You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and explore innovative approaches, including AI-supported engineering solutions.

What makes us successful together

• Qualification: You will hold a university degree (bachelor's/master's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience: You will bring experience in software development, software integration, testing, or related engineering activities, ideally within an Agile environment.
• Know-how and skills: You will demonstrate knowledge of embedded Linux and basic understanding of Yocto. You will have experience with Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD processes, and programming in C++ and Python. Good Linux skills and familiarity with software integration and release processes complete your profile.
• Nice to have: Experience with SOME/IP, Robot Framework, Squish, or HVAC-related products is an advantage. Interest in AI-supported engineering solutions is a plus.
• Personality: You will be a proactive and collaborative team player who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working across teams and technologies.
• Language skills: You will be business fluent in English, enabling effective communication and collaboration within international and cross-functional teams.
