Job summary

Vaillant Group is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to actively shape the central ServiceNow platform in our Poland-based IT Services team. You will develop, configure, and optimize ServiceNow applications with a strong emphasis on developer activities, and work with ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB modules.

You will design automations, workflows, and business logic to reduce manual effort, realize integrations via REST APIs and web services, and support CMDB governance.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Specialist.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.
  • Independent, structured, solution-oriented work in agile and international teams.
  • Analytical thinking with a hands-on mentality; team-oriented.
  • Very good English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Active shape and sustain the central ServiceNow platform development and operations.
  • Develop, configure, and optimize ServiceNow applications focusing on developer activities.
  • Work with ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB modules including HAM/SAM considerations.
  • Design and implement automations, workflows, and business logic to reduce manual effort.
  • Realize integrations with connected systems using REST APIs and web services.
  • Support CMDB data models, relationships, and governance, plus QA and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with international IT teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
  • Support platform upgrades, releases, and continuous improvements of ServiceNow.

Job description

  • In this role, you actively shape the further development and stable operation of the central ServiceNow platform of the Vaillant Group.
  • You develop, configure, and optimize ServiceNow applications and processes with a clear focus on developer activities.
  • You work with modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB as well as Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM).
  • In addition, you design and implement automations, workflows, and business logic to sustainably reduce manual effort.
  • You realize integrations with connected systems (e.g. infrastructure, monitoring, or asset systems) using REST APIs and web services.
  • You support the continuous development and quality assurance of the CMDB, including data models, relationships, and governance.
  • You closely collaborate with international IT teams, architects, and business departments to translate technical requirements into robust solutions.
  • You support platform upgrades, releases, and continuous improvements of the ServiceNow environment.
