Job summary

Capital.com is seeking an IT Procurement Lead to own the full vendor lifecycle from search to offboarding. You will procure hardware, software and IT services, implement repeatable processes, and design controls with Legal, Security and Compliance.

The role requires leadership of the IT Procurement team, shaping strategy, and ensuring regulatory alignment in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with Asset Management, FinOps, Legal and Finance to maintain a single source of truth for

Qualifications

• Experience leading vendor or third-party management in a regulated organisation (e.g. FCA, CySEC)
• Ability to deliver against a strategy and roadmap while exercising judgement
• Proven ability to build processes from scratch and roll them out cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Lead IT third-party management and procurement aligned to IT Ops VP strategy
• Own end-to-end third-party lifecycle: search, onboarding, relationship management, offboarding
• Oversee procurement of hardware, software and IT services; front-loaded entry point
• Design controls with Legal, Security, Compliance and IT Compliance within SLAs
• Create processes from scratch and roll out with training and iteration
• Use process automation and AI to front-load checks and reduce manual effort
• Coordinate with Asset Management and FinOps for data integrity
• Provide Finance and Treasury with spend visibility and payment details
• Ensure regulatory and audit obligations (e.g., DORA) are designed-in
• Line-manage and develop the IT Procurement team; set standards
