Job summary

Moderna is seeking a hands-on DevSecOps Software Engineer in Warsaw to help build secure, scalable platform capabilities that accelerate software delivery. You will collaborate with Builders across AWS, GitHub Actions, Pulumi, Docker, and a variety of APIs to migrate workloads onto standardized platform capabilities, while improving developer experience and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related role.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience in AWS.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems.
• Interest in developer tooling, platform engineering, and secure software delivery.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, code review, version control, and system design.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute across platform engineering responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve automation powering Moderna’s internal developer platform.
• Collaborate with Builders to migrate workloads onto platform capabilities.
• Onboard repositories and teams, validate platform behavior and improve workflows.
• Design and maintain developer workspace infrastructure and onboarding docs.
• Improve platform reliability with monitoring, dashboards, and automation.
• Develop internal documentation and paving road guidance for adoption.
• Identify recurring developer challenges and improve shared frameworks.
• Participate in operational support for platform services and automate repetitive tasks.
• Help expand AI-assisted software development and AI-powered workflows.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle from design to production operations.
