Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and on-premises DevOps. You will work with stakeholders in the UK and Poland to design, implement, and optimize build, deployment, and observability tooling across environments.

The role requires deep experience with Git, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, and OpenTelemetry, along with scripting in Python, Groovy, or Bash. Internal mobility and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps and hands-on expertise in CI/CD
• Infrastructure-as-code: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform
• On-premises DevOps experience essential
• Experience with monitoring/observability: Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry
• Experience with containerization: Docker and Kubernetes
• Code quality and security scanning: SonarQube, SAST/DAST
• Languages: Python, Groovy, Shell, Java, or similar; scripting strong
• Collaboration with release management for multi-environment releases

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with industry-standard tools

• Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning tools
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes

• Coordinate with release teams to plan and execute releases

Job description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines . You will be working with stakeholders across the UK and Poland and must to have hands-on expertise in Ansible and on-premises DevOps is essential.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, etc.).
• Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
• Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, SAST/DAST) as part of DevSecOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks
• 9+ years of experience and hands-on expertise in DevOps
• Infrastructure-as-code: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform.
• Observability: ELK, Prometheus, ITRS
• Messaging: Kafka, Active MQ, iMFT, FileID.
• Programming in either of one language: Python/ Perl/ Power shell/ Bash /Java/Angular JS/ Spring.
