Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the UK and Poland and must have hands-on expertise in Ansible and on-premises DevOps.

The role covers designing, implementing, and maintaining pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and strong focus on observability and security. Responsibilities include managing Git workflows, building with Maven, containerization with Docker, and orchestrating

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in DevOps environments.
• Hands-on experience with RedHat Linux.
• Proficiency with IaC tools and scripting languages.
• Experience with CI/CD, release management and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Manage source code repositories with Git, including branching strategies.
• Configure build and dependency management (Maven or similar).
• Integrate code quality and security scanning (SonarQube, SAST/DAST).
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Develop automation scripts (Shell, Groovy, Python).
• Implement observability with Prometheus, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
• Coordinate releases with release management teams; monitor production environments.
• Continuously improve release processes and runbooks.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines . You will be working with stakeholders across the UK and Poland and must to have hands-on expertise in Ansible and on-premises DevOps is essential .

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, etc.).
• Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
• Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, SAST/DAST) as part of DevSecOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks

• Infrastructure-as-code: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform.
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes experience.
• Observability: ELK, Prometheus, ITRS
• Database: Oracle, Cassandra, Hazelcast, Postgres
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GIT, Maven, Docker, Rundeck.
• Messaging: Kafka, Active MQ, iMFT, FileID.
• Programming in either of one language: Python/ Perl/ Power shell/ Bash /Java/Angular JS/ Spring.
