Job summary

Luxoft in Poland is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines. You will work with stakeholders across the UK and Poland and must have on-premises DevOps experience. You'll containerize with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes, and implement observability using Prometheus and ELK.

Strong scripting and IaC skills (Ansible, Terraform) are essential. This role emphasizes collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement of release

Qualifications

• 9+ years in DevOps with hands-on CI/CD experience.
• Strong Linux system administration skills (RedHat).
• Proficient in IaC: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet.
• Experience containerizing apps with Docker and orchestrating with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of code quality and security tools (SonarQube, SAST/DAST).
• Experience with observability stacks: Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry.
• Proficient scripting in Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Hands-on with Git-based workflows and CI servers (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines . You will be working with stakeholders across the UK and Poland and must to have hands‑on expertise in Ansible and on‑premises DevOps is essential .

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk‑based, etc.).
• Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
• Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, SAST/DAST) as part of DevSecOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks

• 9+ years of experience and hands‑on expertise in DevOpsMust have skills in these areas:
• Systems administration: RedHat Linux.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform.
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes experience.
• Observability: ELK, Prometheus, ITRS
• Database: Oracle, Cassandra, Hazelcast, Postgres
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GIT, Maven, Docker, Rundeck.
• Messaging: Kafka, Active MQ, iMFT, FileID.
• Programming in either of one language: Python/ Perl/ Power shell/ Bash /Java/Angular JS/ Spring.
