Job summary

Gebauer & Griller seeks a Demand Planning professional to review and align forecasts with sales plans, orders, and market signals. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with international teams, leverage Kinaxis, SAP IBP, or Anaplan, and contribute to monthly S&OP cycles, ensuring accurate demand inputs and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning or S&OP roles in international industrial settings.
• Strong forecasting data handling and large data set analysis.
• Familiar with Kinaxis, SAP IBP or Anaplan.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Review sales plan data and historical trends to ensure accuracy.
• Evaluate forecast deviations between plans, forecasts, and orders; propose actions.
• Collaborate with Demand Planners to align demand assumptions and drivers.
• Analyze customer data and order patterns; verify inputs with KAMs.
• Participate in monthly demand and S&OP reviews with Sales, Ops, and Finance.
• Help standardize planning processes and tools for reliable forecasting.

Job description

YOUR TASKS

• Review and analyze sales plan data, historical sales trends, order intake, and customer forecasts to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate and resolve forecast deviations or exceptions between sales plans, statistical forecasts, and actual order data, proposing corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with Demand Planners in production plants to align on demand assumptions, forecast drivers, and key business changes impacting demand planning.
• Independently analyze customer and market data, including insights from customer portals and order patterns, and consult with Key Account Managers to review and confirm sales plan inputs based on this analysis.
• Participate in monthly demand and S&OP review meetings involving stakeholders from Sales, Operations, and Finance.
• Contribute to the enhancement and standardization of demand planning processes and tools to support reliable and transparent forecasting.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Demand Planning, Sales Planning, or S&OP roles, ideally within an international industrial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to work with forecasting data and large data sets.
• Familiarity with demand planning tools such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP, Anaplan, or similar.
• Understanding of statistical forecasting methods and key forecasting KPIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; confident in interacting with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Fluent in English
