Surfshark is seeking a Data Team Lead to own the analytical agenda across Acquisition and App, leading a team of Data Analysts and partnering with product, marketing, and engineering to drive measurable growth.

You will define analytics strategy, mentor analysts, and turn business questions into clear data plans, delivering high-quality, decision-ready insights with a focus on impact.

Qualifications

• Must have led analytics teams.
• Influenced senior stakeholders and shaped strategy with data.
• Solid understanding of modern analytics: SQL, experimentation, and statistics.
• Awareness of how AI/LLMs reshape data workflows.
• Ability to turn vague business questions into analytical plans and drive outcomes.
• High standards for clarity, structure, and precision in analysis and communication.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and bringing structure.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive analytics strategy across acquisition channels and core app.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of technical analysts; remove blockers.
• Act as strategic thought partner to executives and cross-functional leaders.
• Own end-to-end data solutions from attribution to dashboards used for decision making.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Mobile to deliver data-driven improvements.
• Improve workflows and analytics infrastructure to boost efficiency and outcomes.
