Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help migrate and modernize data and analytics workflows. You will work with Google BigQuery, Dataform, and Python, collaborating closely with analytics and data engineering teams.

The role requires visiting the client's Warsaw office once a month and contributing to a broad modernization of the Analytics Data Platform within Google Cloud Platform. Strong English and Polish skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in mass data processing.
• Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in BigQuery.
• Knowledge of Dataform on GCP or a willingness to learn Dataform usage.
• Knowledge of Python for data analytics and engineering purposes.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Very good command of English and Polish, and residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data and analytics processes to Google BigQuery using Dataform and dbt.
• Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines with BigQuery, Dataform, SQL, and Python.
• Contribute to modernization of the Analytics Data Platform in Google Cloud Platform.
• Participate in setting work standards and QA best practices within the dept.
• Propose ideas and optimizations for data processes and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with analytics, data engineering, and business teams to translate needs into scalable tech solutions.
