Job summary

Sii is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to help migrate and modernize data and analytics processes. The role uses Google BigQuery, Dataform, and Python, collaborating with analytics and data engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

You will work on migrating platforms, designing robust pipelines, and contributing to the Analytics Data Platform modernization within Google Cloud. Polish and English fluency are required, with residency in Poland and monthly travel to Warsaw.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience in mass data processing.
SQL proficiency with hands-on BigQuery experience.
Knowledge of Dataform on GCP or willingness to learn Dataform.
Knowledge of Python for data analytics and engineering.
Analytical mindset with ability to work independently or in a team.
Excellent English and Polish with residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

Migrate data and analytics processes from Oracle, Python, and SAS to Google BigQuery using Dataform and dbt.
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions with BigQuery, Dataform, SQL, and Python.
Contribute to reshaping and modernizing the Analytics Data Platform in Google Cloud.
Participate in evaluating and co-creating work standards and QA practices.
Proactively propose ideas and optimizations for data processes and analytics solutions.
Collaborate with analytics, data engineering, and business teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
