Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland, part of the Lufthansa Group, is hiring a Data Engineer/Analyst to build data pipelines and dashboards. You will explore diverse data sets, collaborate with Middleware and Digital Hangar teams, and contribute to analytics for aviation clients.

Requirements include 3+ years in data roles, Python, PySpark, Azure tools, SQL, and English proficiency. Onsite in Gdansk 2 days/week or relocation to Tri-City; travel quarterly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Processing.
• Proficiency with Python, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, Azure ML, Databricks, and Git.
• Hands-on with BI tools (Tableau) and data architectures (Data Lakes).
• Experience with API data extraction and structured databases; familiarity with VCS and CI/CD.
• Agile mindset with Scrum experience and strong English communication.

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years’ commercial experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Processing
• Expertise in Python, PySpark, Pytest, Azure Data Factory, Azure ML, Databricks, and Git
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and modern data architectures (Data Lakes)
• Skilled in API data extraction and working with structured databases
• Familiarity with VCS, CI/CD pipelines, and data cleaning/analysis
• Agile mindset with Scrum team experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Proactive, collaborative, and strategic approach
• Eagerness for continuous learning and growth
• Willingness to travel quarterly
• Availability to work onsite in Gdańsk 2 days/week or to relocate to Trójmiasto
• Nice to have: SQL, NumPy, Pandas
• Plus: knowledge of software development processes
