Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland is expanding its Digital Hangar team to deliver enhanced passenger journey data capabilities. You will build data pipelines, explore data sets, and create dashboards while collaborating with Middleware and Digital Hangar teams.

The role requires 3+ years in data engineering/analytics, BI visualization experience, and strong English. Hybrid work with occasional travel and relocation to the Tri-City area are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Data Engineering/Analytics/Processing.
• Experience creating data visualizations with BI tools (Tableau or similar).
• Experience with Modern Data Architecture (Data Lake).
• Experience extracting data from APIs.
• Familiar with modern development tools (VCS, CI/CD).
• Ability to clean, understand, and analyze data; knowledge of structured databases.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Proactive, team player, able to think beyond project scope.
• Experience in Scrum environments and willing to travel quarterly.
• Willing to relocate to Tri-City area or commute from Gdańsk.

As a member you will be responsible for delivering high quality data processing pipelines, exploring data sets and creating Dashboards. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with both the Middleware team and the Digital Hangar.

Who are you?

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in Data Engineering/ Data Analytics/ Data Processing,
• Must have experience in creating data visualizations using BI tools e.g.,Tableau,
• Experience in Modern Data Architecture (Data Lake),
• Experience in data extraction from APIs,
• Working knowledge of modern development tools and processes (VCS, CI/CD),
• Practical knowledge of data understanding,cleaning,and analyzing, structured databases,
• Very goodcommand of English language,
• Proactive attitude and the ability to work as a team player,
• The ability to think beyond the current scope of the project,
• Experience activelyparticipatingin a Scrum team by bringing innew solutions,
• Willingness to travel once per quarter,
• Willingness to upskill on your own initiative and deriving further insights from data,
• Willingness to come to our office inGdańsktwo days a week orrelocatetoTrójmiasto.
• Nice to havetool set -SQL,Numpy, Pandas.
