Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland Sp. z o.o. seeks an experienced Data Engineer to join our analytics team in Gdańsk on a hybrid basis. You will build data pipelines, analyze data, and create dashboards for aviation IT projects.

Requirements include 3+ years in data engineering or analytics, strong Python, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Tableau. A Scrum mindset, willingness to travel quarterly, and onsite work 2 days/week in Gdańsk or relocation to Trójmiasto are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ commercial experience in data engineering, analytics, or processing.
• Expertise in Python, PySpark, Pytest, Azure Data Factory, Azure ML, Databricks, and Git.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau) and modern data architectures (Data Lakes).

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years’ commercial experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Processing
• Expertise in Python, PySpark, Pytest, Azure Data Factory, Azure ML, Databricks, and Git
• Hands- on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and modern data architectures (Data Lakes)

• Skilled in API data extraction and working with structured databases
• Familiarity with VCS, CI/CD pipelines, and data cleaning/analysis
• Agile mindset with Scrum team experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Proactive, collaborative, and strategic approach
• Eagerness for continuous learning and growth
• Willingness to travel quarterly
• Availabilityto work onsite in Gdańsk 2 days/week or to relocate to Trójmiasto
• Nice to have: SQL, NumPy, Pandas
• Plus: knowledge of software development processes
