Job summary

Software Mind is seeking a Data Business Analyst to bridge business needs with data analytics capabilities. You will work with a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Data Engineers and BI Specialists to develop analytical and reporting solutions used across the organization.

We expect 4+ years as a BA in Data/BI projects, strong requirements gathering, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Polish language is mandatory; remote work is supported with international projects.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data/BI/Analytics or Data Warehouse projects.
Experience gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements.
Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, Data Engineers and BI teams.
Proven ability to communicate across technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Capture, analyze, and document business requirements related to data, reporting and analytics initiatives.
Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
Support the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization and feature clarification.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers and business stakeholders to define data requirements, KPI definitions and reporting needs.
Analyze source systems, data flows and reporting processes to identify business and data requirements.
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and requirement clarification meetings.
Contribute to functional specifications, process flows, data mapping and solution documentation.
