Job summary

MTU Aero Engines Polska Sp. z o.o is seeking a Data Analyst (W/M) in Tajęcina near Rzeszów to develop machine learning models for parts deviation prediction and anomaly detection. The role involves independent project work, reporting, and collaboration with MTU Munich and cross-functional teams.

Qualified candidates hold a data science or engineering degree, strong Python skills, and experience with ETL, SQL, and ML. English proficiency is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Python, including NumPy, pandas and scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with tools such as PyCharm, Tableau, Git and Linux.
• Experience in statistics and machine learning, data collection (ETL) and database management (SQL), preferably for shop floor data.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Openness to qualification training in Munich.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse, virtual team.
• Ability to work independently in an international environment.
• Very good written and spoken English, German is a plus.

Your responsibilities
