Job summary

Vention in Gdansk, Poland is hiring a Data Analyst to join our data team. You will check data accuracy, profile data through ETL, trace anomalies, document business rules, and collaborate with data engineers and analysts to keep the warehouse reliable.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of Data Analyst experience, strong Python and SQL skills, PostgreSQL experience, knowledge of ETL and data quality profiling, sharp analytical thinking, and B2 English.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience working with data warehouses, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data quality profiling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• B2 English level, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Check data accuracy and consistency across our data warehouse (PostgreSQL).
• Work through ETL processes to profile data and identify quality issues.
• Trace anomalies back to their root cause.
• Document the business rules that govern the data.
