Job summary

A global engineering partner in Poland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using various cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, strong Python and SQL skills, and a solid background in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with Python and SQL.
• Solid knowledge of Spark/PySpark for distributed data processing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with modern data architectures such as Data Lake, Delta Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data Mesh.
• Infrastructure knowledge (Kubernetes, Terraform) would be a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• B2+ English, with experience communicating with English-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks)
• Integrate and manage diverse datasets, ensuring accessibility and quality for analytics and machine learning
• Design and maintain cloud-native, high-performance data architectures that scale with our business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient data solutions
• Analyze data and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to uncover trends and support decision-making
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud data technologies and industry best practices, bringing innovation to our data ecosystem
