Job summary

Translation Excellence is seeking a highly specialized Danish Life Science Linguist (Translator, Reviewer, & Editor) on a contractor basis. You will translate, review, and edit complex life science documents in a regulated environment, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires advanced life science expertise, 5+ years of experience, native-level Danish, and proficiency with CAT tools. ISO 17100/13485 knowledge is essential for high-stakes regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Science or Translation with field experience.
• 5+ years professional life science translation/editing experience.
• Native-level fluency in the target language and professional-level mastery of the source language.
• Extensive experience with CAT tools (SDL Trados, memoQ, Memsource).
• Experience handling EMA/FDA filings or MedDRA/EDQM terminology.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex life science documents from English (USA) to Danish with high accuracy.
• Review translated materials against source text to ensure no omissions or errors.
• Edit and proofread for native-level quality and regulatory publication standards.
• Manage client glossaries and translation memories for consistency.
• Ensure QA compliance with ISO 17100 and ISO 13485.
