Job summary

Qatar Airways in Warsaw invites a Cargo Operations Supervisor to join our expanding team. You will oversee cargo operations, coordinate with GHA and staff, ensure compliance with IATA and local regulations, and drive efficient, safe handling of inbound and outbound cargo.

Key responsibilities include rostering staff, optimizing capacity for revenue, resolving customer issues, and maintaining accurate cargo reporting. Polish and English language proficiency is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of cargo procedures, acceptance, office, warehouse and ramp operations.
• IATA recognized dangerous goods knowledge.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Sound decision-making under pressure and problem solving.
• Ramp-handling and load control of all aircraft types.
• Fluent in Polish and English, both verbal and written.
• Experience loading cargo freighters and using IT tools (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety measures by operations staff and GHA.
• Optimize capacity use to maximize revenue with on-time freighter performance.
• Handle customer requests professionally and resolve issues to reduce complaints.
• Prepare staff rosters and brief on changes in QR products and services.
• Support Sales with up-to-date operational information in systems.
• Coordinate with Ground Handling Agents and HQ Cargo for quality service.
