Job summary
Hitachi Energy is seeking a C++ developer to build extensions for the PTC Creo Parametric CAD system, automating transformers design. You will shape software that is efficient, maintainable, and scalable to evolving technology and business needs.
You’ll design and develop high‑quality C++ code, analyze requirements, translate customer needs into solutions, and collaborate with engineers, QA, and product managers across the full product lifecycle. Experience with Windows API and CMake is valued.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional C++ development experience (C++17/20/23).
- Experience with Microsoft Windows API.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and programming principles.
- Good knowledge of CMake.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software using modern C++
- Build and maintain extensions for PTC Creo Parametric CAD
- Analyze business and technical requirements
- Translate customer needs into software solutions
- Improve automation and unit test coverage
