Hitachi Energy is seeking a C++ developer to build extensions for the PTC Creo Parametric CAD system, focusing on automating transformer design. You will work with global specialists to deliver scalable, maintainable software for critical workflows in power grids.

You will translate customer needs into software solutions while collaborating with engineers, QA, and product managers throughout the product lifecycle and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional C++ development experience (C++17/20/23).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows API and OO design principles.
• Strong knowledge of CMake and modern software practices.

We are looking for someone with experience in C++ who will be building extensions for PTC Creo Parametric CAD system that automates the process of transformer design.

Your background

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in C++ development (C++17/20/23)
• Experience with Microsoft Windows API
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented design and programming principles
• Good knowledge of CMake
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
