Job summary

Hitachi Energy Lodz/Cracow is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join the Global Engineering Center. You will design transformer components, create 3D models and 2D drawings, and ensure timely delivery within an international team.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, CAD experience (Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor), and good English. Hybrid work options are available with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Good command of English for international environment.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of transformer components and preparation of documentation per customer specs.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
• Manage project execution and ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
• Optimize technical solutions considering mechanical and electrical requirements.
• Collaborate with international engineering teams, manufacturing and stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and technical consultations.
• Support implementation of new engineering solutions and design improvements.
