Hitachi Energy is seeking a C++ developer to build extensions for the PTC Creo Parametric CAD system, focusing on automating transformer design. You will work with global specialists to deliver scalable, maintainable software for critical workflows in power grids.

You will translate customer needs into software solutions while collaborating with engineers, QA, and product managers throughout the product lifecycle and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional C++ development experience (C++17/20/23).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows API and OO design principles.
• Strong knowledge of CMake and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software using modern C++.
• Build and maintain extensions for PTC Creo Parametric CAD.
• Analyze business and technical requirements for transformations design support tools.
• Translate customer needs into robust software solutions for transformer design.
• Improve automation and increase unit test coverage.
