Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland SP. Z O.O. in Lodz is seeking a Mechanical Designer (m/f/d) for the Global Engineering Center.

You will design transformer components, prepare technical documentation, and create 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Inventor in a hybrid work model across Lodz and Cracow. This role requires a university degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, strong CAD experience, good English, and a collaborative mindset to work with

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with CAD tools for transformer components.
• Proven ability to work in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of transformer components and prep of docs.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in CAD tools.
• Manage project execution and ensure timely delivery.
• Optimize solutions considering mechanical and electrical requirements.
• Collaborate with international engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and technical consultations.
