Hitachi Energy Poland SP. Z O.O. is seeking a C++ software engineer to design and develop high-quality C++ applications.

You will build extensions for PTC Creo Parametric CAD to automate transformer design and collaborate with global experts to deliver scalable solutions for power grids. The role requires 3+ years of C++ experience, Windows API proficiency, and strong OO design, with a focus on maintainability, testing, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in C++ development (C++17/20/23).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows API.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and programming principles.
• Good knowledge of CMake.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software using modern C++.
• Build and maintain extensions for PTC Creo Parametric CAD.
• Analyze business and technical requirements.
• Translate customer needs into software solutions.
• Improve automation and unit test coverage.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA teams, and product managers.
• Contribute throughout the full product development lifecycle.
• Support issue resolution and continuous product improvement.
