Job summary

Engenious is seeking a Business Process Engineer/Manager for Transport Management to lead a global transformation initiative and design standardized transport processes. You will work with Business Process Architects, ERP teams, and stakeholders to align processes with digital solutions and ensure operational excellence across regions.

The role emphasizes process standardization, optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, cost-effective transport operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven BPM or process improvement experience in manufacturing.
  • Hands-on transport management process definition and standardization.
  • Experience in digital transformation projects, ERP rollouts.
  • Understanding of transport planning, logistics, Incoterms.
  • Strong analytical skills translating needs to process designs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve global Transport Management processes in collaboration with Business Process Architects and other Business Process Managers.
  • Define and optimize future-state processes that support efficient and reliable transport management.
  • Assess existing local processes against global standards, identify gaps, and drive harmonization across regions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation in accordance with governance standards.
  • Define and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment between business processes and digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and implementation teams to ensure business requirements are reflected in digital platforms.
  • Support ERP and digital transformation initiatives by providing process expertise and driving process adoption.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to understand current ways of working and define future-state processes.
  • Ensure alignment between business processes and supporting digital solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvements with a focus on: on-time delivery, transportation cost optimization, efficient transport planning and execution, correct goods ownership transfer in line with Incoterms, operational excellence and process standardization.

Job description

At Engenious, we are looking for aBusiness Process Engineer / Manager - Transport Managementto join a long-term digital transformation initiative for one of our largest international clients.

This role is part of a global Process Centre of Excellence responsible for designing, standardizing, and continuously improving end-to-end business processes across the organization. You will play a key role in shaping global Transport Management processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with digital solutions supporting the business.

Working closely with business and IT stakeholders, you will help drive process standardization, support ERP transformation initiatives, and enable operational excellence across a global manufacturing organization.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in Business Process Management, process improvement, or a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with Transport Management process definition, optimization, and standardization.
  • Experience participating in digital transformation projects, preferably ERP implementations or rollouts.
  • Good understanding of transportation planning, logistics processes, and Incoterms.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into standardized process designs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and influential approach to driving process improvements.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
  • Experience working within global Process Centres of Excellence.
  • Familiarity with process modelling methodologies and business process governance.
  • Experience in large‑scale international transformation programs.
