Job summary

Engenious is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Consultant to support and develop SAP solutions across PLM, QM, and repair processes. You will bridge IT and business stakeholders in an international team, primarily based in Austria, and contribute to both operations and project work.

Ideal candidates have several years of SAP experience, strong English, and a collaborative, analytical approach to optimize SAP processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a SAP Consultant or SAP Solution Consultant.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience with SAP PLM and SAP QM is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP CS or repair processes is advantageous.
• Experience with SAP customizing and basic ABAP debugging.
• Ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in international and cross-functional environments.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Job description

For our client, a global manufacturing and engineering company, Engenious is looking for an experiencedSAP Solution Consultantto support and develop SAP business solutions across Product Lifecycle Management, Quality Management, Repair processes, and cross-functional business areas.

In this role, you will ensure the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of SAP solutions while acting as a trusted partner between IT and business stakeholders. You will join an international team based primarily in Austria and contribute to both operational support and project-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize SAP business processes related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), including:
• Product phase-out
• Support Quality Management and Customer Service/Repair processes (QM/CS) in close cooperation with business stakeholders.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Perform SAP customizing and configuration activities.
• Support ABAP developments by performing debugging and cooperating with development teams where required.
• Maintain and improve SAP process documentation and functional specifications.
• Participate in IT compliance activities, including:
• testing,
• control reviews,
• user training,
• communication with business stakeholders,
• cooperation with external partners and auditors.
• Work closely with cross-functional international teams to improve business processes and deliver SAP enhancements.
• Participate in project initiatives as well as ongoing application support.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a SAP Consultant or SAP Solution Consultant.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes, preferably within manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Experience withSAP PLMandSAP Quality Management (QM)is highly preferred.
• Knowledge ofSAP Customer Service (CS)or repair processes will be considered an advantage.
• Experience with SAP customizing and basic ABAP debugging.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Very good command of English (spoken and written).
