Job summary

ALDI Tech Hub in Krakow is hiring for a data analytics/BI role focused on dashboards and reporting using external market data. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into dashboards and maintain data models with the data engineering team.

The role requires strong BI tooling skills (Power BI) and programming in R/Python/SQL, with English fluency and a proactive, accurate work style. The position offers hybrid work within Krakow.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in business informatics, statistics, business intelligence, data analytics or comparable qualification.
• Relevant professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics or a comparable activity.
• You can develop audience-appropriate reports and dashboards and model complex data sets for stakeholders.
• Advanced programming skills in R, Python, SQL and interaction with BI tools like Power BI.
• Analytical thinking, structured approach and high quality standards.
• Independent, diligent and motivated to design new processes and concepts.
• English fluency; German is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of user-centric dashboards and reports based on external market data.
• Recording of requirements, development of drafts and independent coordination with different stakeholders.
• Requirement creation, access management, and operation & maintenance of dashboards/reports.
• Selecting and developing the right technology based on specified frameworks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on data modeling and refining user stories.
• Carrying out regular cube deployments.
• Execute ad-hoc evaluations as needed.

Your tasks

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of user-centric dashboards and reports based on external market data

Requirements

• Completed studies in business informatics, statistics, business intelligence, data analytics or comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in the areas of business intelligence, data analytics or a comparable activity
• You have strong skills in developing audience-appropriate reports and dashboards for various stakeholders and are able to analyze and model complex data sets and share this knowledge with your teammates
• You bring advanced programming skills in R, Python, SQL or comparable, in interaction with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI
• Analytical thinking skills, a structured approach and enjoys solving complex new tasks
• A high degree of independence, diligence and quality awareness
• A high motivation to design new processes and concepts
• Business fluent in written and spoken English, German is a bonus
