International sensor company in Poland is hiring a Business Application Specialist ERP to be the primary point of contact for ERP-related support. You will provide technical and functional support across our ERP landscape, focusing on administration, troubleshooting, configuration, integrations, releases, and continuous improvement in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional ERP support experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Solid understanding of business processes within manufacturing, supply chain, or finance.
• Knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, Windows/Linux, and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure domains.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Proactive with backlog management and clear blocker communication.
• Eagerness to learn in a multicultural, tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own ERP incidents, service requests from investigation to resolution, including testing and release.
• Maintain support docs: tickets, configuration changes, user guides, FAQs.
• Assist ERP administration: user access, system configuration, releases, testing, rollout.
• Support server and database infra related to business apps: patching, backups, performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application teams, and partners to ensure availability, performance, security.
• Provide end-user training materials and knowledge transfer.
• Communicate clearly in English with local and international stakeholders.

Job description

• As a Business Application Specialist ERP, you will be the primary point of contact for ERP-related support in our Poland office. You will provide technical and functional support for our ERP landscape, with a particular focus on application administration, troubleshooting, configuration, integrations, release and continuous improvement. This role bridges technical understanding with business process insight, making it ideal for someone eager to grow in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical and functional ERP incidents, service requests and improvement initiatives, from initial investigation through resolution, testing and implementation, escalating to external partners or vendors when required
• Maintain support documentation, including tickets, configuration changes, user guides, and FAQs
• Assist with ERP administration, including user access management, system configuration, release coordination, implementation, testing, rollout, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of server infrastructure and database environments related to business applications, including configuration, patching, upgrades, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, application teams, Key Users, Business Process Managers, and external technology partners to ensure the availability, performance, and security of business-critical systems
• Support end-user training by preparing materials, providing guidance on application functionalities, and facilitating knowledge transfer
• Communicate clearly and professionally in English with local and international stakeholders

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role
• Demonstrable understanding of business processes within manufacturing, supply chain, or finance environments
• Basic knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, Windows/Linux environments, and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure domains
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to identify next steps, manage assigned tasks and backlog items, follow up actions, and communicate blockers proactively with limited supervision
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a multicultural, technology-driven environment

Optional

• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as IFS, SAP, or similar solutions
• Experience with ticketing platforms such as Jira or ServiceNow
• Familiarity with documentation and knowledge management tools such as Confluence or SharePoint
