Job summary

Act Digital is seeking a senior Business Analyst to support strategic transformation initiatives for a major European institution. You will model value chains, elicit requirements, and guide product teams through ERP deployments, with emphasis on Logistics, WMS, Asset, and Fleet domains.

The role requires 5+ years in IT and 3+ years in BA, CCBA or equivalent, UML/BPMN proficiency, and ServiceNow familiarity. EU/Poland-based candidates welcome; English must be at C1.

Qualifications

• CCBA or equivalent certification required.
• UML and BPMN modelling knowledge with Sparx/ARIS tools.
• Experience delivering full software solution lifecycles.
• ERP project experience in logistics or asset/fleet domains.
• ITSM/CMDB knowledge; ServiceNow certs appreciated.

TASKS :

• Model and document value chains, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data.
• Elicit and analyse business needs, requirements, and user stories.
• Support business experts and product owners during requirements definition and software development activities.
• Maintain and track requirements and user stories throughout the systems lifecycle.
• Translate business, user, and technical needs into business requirements specifications.
• Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features.
• Analyse existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to the preparation of business cases and feasibility studies.
• Participate in systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management activities.
• Coach stakeholders on upcoming changes, ensuring appropriate plans are in place to support new processes and skills.
• Communicate project objectives, business cases, requirements, and scope to stakeholders.
• Perform quantitative analysis of business processes, including cost-benefit and what-if analyses.
• Contribute to the definition of transition roadmaps and business architectures.

SENIORITY REQUIREMENTS :

To qualify for this position, the consultant must have:

• Relevant IT professional experience (Minimum 5 years)
• Experience in a Business Analyst role or a similar position (Minimum 3 years)

REQUIREMENTS :

Required Certifications :

• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA) or equivalent.
• Certified UML Professional Certificate (Foundation Level), BPM 2 Fundamental Level, or equivalent.
• Other internationally recognized equivalent certifications accepted by the Contracting Authority.

Knowledge & Skills :

• Experience completing at least one full software solution lifecycle.
• Knowledge of business process modelling using BPMN notation.
• Experience in requirements and user story elicitation and analysis.
• Knowledge of modelling techniques and notations such as UML (capability diagrams, activity diagrams, state diagrams, logical data models, etc.).
• Experience using modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Specific Requirements :

• Experience as a Business Analyst on a large-scale ERP project
• Experience analyzing business processes in areas such as: Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management.
• ITSM (Hardware Asset Management, CMDB)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
