Job summary

TOMASZ SOŁTYS /rekruter.it is seeking a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to join a technology-focused organization working across R&D, electronics, software and product development. The role connects clients, product teams and software QA to clarify requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for the engineering team.

You will prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, maintain backlog quality, and participate in client meetings, with some after-hours meetings CET.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of BA/IT business analysis or similar roles.
• Experience working with software development teams.
• Experience in embedded systems, IoT, hardware or R&D.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Our client is a specialized technology organization operating across R&D, electronics, software and product development. The company develops its own technology solutions combining software and hardware, used in professional equipment and systems.

A significant part of the organization’s work is focused on research and development, new product development, requirements analysis and collaboration between technical and product teams.

The role offers an opportunity to work on real technology products in an environment combining software development, electronics, embedded/IoT and R&D.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst who will be closely involved in the software development and product development processes.

The role will act as a bridge between clients, product, software development and QA teams. A key part of the position will be understanding client needs, analyzing and clarifying requirements, and translating them into clear requirements and actionable tasks for the technical team.

This position is particularly suited to someone who wants to develop at the intersection of Business Analysis, Product Development and technology, rather than focusing solely on requirements documentation.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a BA, IT Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Analyst or in a similar role,
• Experience working with software development teams,
• Experience in projects involving embedded systems, IoT, hardware, HMI or R&D,
• Good understanding of the software delivery process,
• Experience working in an Agile environment,
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, Confluence or similar,
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholder groups,
• Very good English – the role involves regular communication with English-speaking clients and stakeholders,
• Proactive mindset, ownership and independence,
• Ability to prepare recommendations, solution options and impact analyses rather than simply passing on collected information,
• Flexibility regarding meeting hours – some client meetings may take place after 5:00 PM CET.
