Job summary

Abbott in Poland is seeking an Associate Application Analyst to partner with teams on business systems design, configuration, upgrades, and improvements for assigned platforms. You will be the primary end-user contact, identify issues, and work to resolve them while performing impact analysis and building/test changes.

You'll document processes, help develop trainings, support cross-functional teams, and travel between Abbott locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience developing, supporting, or configuring technology solutions in life sciences or healthcare is preferred.
• Professional working knowledge configuring business systems software in a life sciences, healthcare, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Application or Business Analysts to estimate and assess impact of requested changes.
• Participate in workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze issues on low complexity software components.
• Develop understanding of operational needs and business processes to support workflows; identify opportunities to improve with technology.
• Identify issues in the application area and related teams, and work to resolve them.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
• Help develop trainings and work with end users.
• Develop and maintain supporting technical and process documentation and administration.
• Troubleshoot problems and provide regular status updates.
• Provide end-user production support via the issues tracking system.
