Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking an AI Transformation Lead to accelerate AI adoption across engineering platforms, software products and workflows supporting transformer design and development.

You will bridge AI strategy and execution, collaborating with software engineers, solution architects, data specialists, cybersecurity experts, and innovation teams to translate opportunities into practical, scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, architecture, digital transformation, or related tech roles.
• Hands-on delivery of software solutions and tech transformations in complex orgs.
• Practical AI/ML, generative AI, or intelligent automation experience.
• Knowledge of modern cloud platforms and enterprise architecture.
• Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong ability to connect business goals with tech solutions.
• Experience delivering automation and emerging tech improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of AI across engineering platforms, software and teams.
• Translate AI strategy into practical, measurable implementation plans.
• Identify opportunities to boost engineering productivity with AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to define use cases and support implementation.
• Work with architects, data specialists, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders for safe adoption.
• Promote modern engineering practices and AI-guided development.
• Support modernization, legacy system evolution, and new tech patterns.
• Lead experimentation, PoCs, and innovation with the org.
• Monitor AI trends to identify opportunities for the engineering org.
