Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking an AI Opportunity Lead within the Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (DAAI) organization to identify promising AI capabilities and shape them into focused validation questions.

You will work with AI Researchers and experimentation engineers to translate opportunities into credible Hitachi Energy scenarios and coordinated validation work. The role emphasizes partnering with multiple groups, managing a pipeline from concept to recommendation, and helping

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in innovation, technology opportunity development, product or program management, AI, or strategy.
Hands-on knowledge of current AI tools and ability to frame unclear ideas as focused questions with evidence.
Excellent communication and influencing skills in a developing process environment.

Responsibilities

Identify and shape AI opportunities and translate them into validation questions.
Coordinate validations across the team and maintain a clear pipeline with leadership.
Build partnerships with internal teams, partners, vendors, and suppliers within procurement and security constraints.
Help define how the new team works with stakeholders and establishes processes.
