Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Solution Architect to shape the evolution of our software platform and steer its long-term technical direction. You will work with development teams, stakeholders, and Global IT to craft scalable designs and ensure maintainability for future challenges.

This role emphasizes architecture, documentation, and driving technical initiatives over day-to-day coding, including AI-driven innovation. Excellent English and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Around 8+ years of experience in software development.
• At least 2 years leading technical initiatives, projects, or cross‑team engineering efforts.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and lifecycle management.
• Able to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and modern application platforms.
• Experience with .NET technologies in large-scale environments.
• Experience in industrial or engineering domains and AI‑assisted solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architectures and technical approaches for new initiatives and platform enhancements.
• Collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, and Global IT to align requirements and technical decisions.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and design guidelines.
• Lead technical discussions and support teams in solving complex engineering challenges.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and developer productivity.
• Drive innovation initiatives, including the adoption of AI and modern software engineering practices.
