Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced AI Architect to define and lead enterprise AI architecture, ensuring scalable, secure platforms aligned with business goals. The role spans strategy, governance, and collaboration with product, engineering, data, and business teams.

We expect 8+ years in technology roles with deep AI/ML solution design, strong Python and cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP), and proven leadership in architecture governance and deployment of AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technology roles, with significant experience in AI/ML solution architecture and enterprise platform design.
• Strong expertise in Python, AI/ML frameworks, data architecture, APIs, and system integration patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), MLOps, containerization, and scalable deployment architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end AI architecture strategy across domains such as generative AI, predictive analytics, NLP, and computer vision.
• Lead architecture decisions covering data pipelines, model integration, API design, orchestration, deployment patterns, and observability.
• Establish design governance and ensure security, privacy, and responsible AI requirements are met.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and business teams to translate needs into design and roadmaps.
