Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Kraków is seeking an AI Opportunity Lead to identify and shape AI opportunities, frame validation questions, and coordinate early validation work with the Technology Validation team.

You will collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to translate emerging capabilities into credible Hitachi Energy scenarios, building partnerships and coordinating selected validation activities from first question to recommendation.

Qualifications

• Passion for AI with initiative to build or try new tools.
• 3+ years in innovation, tech opportunity development, product/program mgmt, AI or strategy in tech.
• Strong working knowledge of current AI and hands-on tool use.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Identify and shape promising AI opportunities and turn them into validation questions.
• Collaborate with AI researchers/engineers to translate technologies into Hitachi Energy scenarios.
• Build relationships with DAAI teams, Hitachi Group peers, vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate validations across the team and maintain a concise pipeline with the Global Technology Validation Manager.
